Rey Mysterio has had his fair share of WrestleMania moments throughout the course of his career, and he’ll be looking to add another one to his resume at WrestleMania 35.
This week on SmackDown Live it was announced that Rey Mysterio will be challenging Samoa Joe for the United States Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All, and Rey’s son Dominic will be watching the match from the ringside area.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that original plans for Rey Mysterio called for him to face Andrade at the Show of Shows.
If Rey Mysterio defeats Samoa Joe at WrestleMania he will win the US Title for the first time in his career.
