Last week NXT Champion Karrion Kross made his Monday Night Raw debut when he faced off against Jeff Hardy, and the match got a lot of people talking when Hardy pulled out the victory and defeated the debuting star.
This week Karrion Kross managed to redeem himself when he picked up a victory over Keith Lee on Raw, but that was not the original plan for Kross on Monday night.
Fightful Select is reporting that Kross wasn’t supposed to pick up a victory on Monday Night Raw this week as original plans called for Jeff Hardy to defeat him once again in a rematch.
Plans were changed due to the fact that Jeff Hardy had to be pulled from the show due to a positive COVID-19 test. Fightful was not told of any creative direction for the feud, but it’s being said that several members of the creative team were baffled by the decision to have Kross lose for the second week in a row.
