Seth Rollins has been on top of the wrestling world ever since he defeated Brock Lesnar to become the new Universal Champion at WrestleMania 35, and The Beastslayer isn’t going to give up his title without a fight.
Even though Rollins is currently in possession of the title, Brock Lesnar has been teasing a possible Money In The Bank cash in, and The Beast made it known on Raw this week that he plans to cash in on Friday.
Seth Rollins is set to defend his Universal Title against Baron Corbin on Friday at Super ShowDown, but Rollins isn’t 100 percent following the beat down he took at the hands of Corbin and Lesnar on Raw.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, original plans for WWE Super ShowDown called for Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar to be part of the card.
Rollins is “going in hurt” so it’s not known what direction WWE will take, whether it’s Corbin winning the belt and Lesnar cashing in on Corbin, or if WWE will go with some sort of other swerve.
There’s speculation that if Brock Lesnar doesn’t end up cashing in on Rollins in some fashion the two could face off at SummerSlam.
