Last week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured a huge main event, as Triple H returned to the ring to face the one and only Randy Orton.
However, there was no clear winner, as the lights went out, and when they came back on Triple H was gone, but Alexa Bliss was in the ring. Bliss then followed up by shooting a fireball at Randy Orton’s face as the show went off the air.
Randy Orton was being advertised for a match against Drew McIntyre last week, but Triple H took his place when McIntyre was pulled from the show due to a positive COVID-19 test.
Fightful Select reports that WWE was still planning on going with the fireball finish featuring Alexa Bliss regardless of whether or not Randy faced Triple H or Drew McIntyre.
WWE had planned for McIntyre to be part of the show through the weekend. It was also noted that the fireball was not computer generated, but the spot was heavily edited.
