On Monday night, Kurt Angle confronted Baron Corbin in the ring and he hit Corbin with the Angle Slam much to the delight of the fans in attendance.
But Kurt’s happy moment didn’t last very long, because Kurt was interrupted by Lars Sullivan.
When Sullivan made his way down to the ring he destroyed Kurt Angle and put him away with a top rope head-butt before making his way back up the ramp.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that original plans called for Lars Sullivan to debut back in January and attack John Cena.
It was rumored that WWE officials were considering a Cena vs. Sullivan feud for WrestleMania 35, but those plans didn’t work out as Lars had to take a hiatus from WWE due to personal reasons.
