We’re currently on the road to WrestleMania 42 and the card has been slowly coming together in recent weeks. On Saturday the Elimination Chamber will air live from Chicago and two more title contenders will punch their ticket to WrestleMania.
The winner of the women’s Elimination Chamber match will go on to challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania, and Alexa Bliss, Tiffany Stratton, Rhea Ripley, Asuka, Kiana James and Raquel Rodriguez have all been confirmed for the match.
At this point in time it’s not clear who will be stepping up to face Jade Cargill on the Grandest Stage of Them All, but it was recently reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Cargill was originally supposed to face Bianca Belair.
“Then for a shot at Jade Cargill, which was originally months and months ago supposed to be Bianca. We did hear that.”
Unfortunately Bianca Belair has been out of action since WrestleMania 41 as she suffered an injury while facing off against Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky in a triple threat match. Belair confirmed recently that she underwent surgery on her finger and has begun the rehabilitation process. There’s no word on when she will be back in action.
