Original Plans For Finn Balor’s Return To WWE

A few months ago Finn Balor faced The Fiend at SummerSlam, and he after he was defeated he took some time away from WWE.

But Finn Balor is back, and to the surprise of many he returned to NXT as opposed to Raw or SmackDown.

Finn Balor is currently being advertised for the SmackDown shows on the upcoming UK tour, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the decision has changed, and because of his involvement with NXT Finn won’t be on the tour.

Before Balor was moved to NXT the plan was for him to be part of the SmackDown brand

After he lost to Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam, the plan was to bring him to SmackDown after his sabbatical, but plans changed after the ratings for NXT came out, and he was moved to NXT with the idea being that his star power would help the brand.
