Dana Brooke has been trying to get the fans behind her as of late, and it’s no big secret that she hasn’t had the best of luck since joining the main roster.
Brooke often struggles to find a place on the card, but it sounds like she was originally meant for bigger things when she was called up.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE officials wanted to push Dana Brooke, and the idea was for her to have a big WrestleMania feud with Charlotte Flair.
He went on to say that the push didn’t happen because when it came time for the feud to get physical she didn’t get over with the crowd.
Not all hope is lost for Brooke, as Meltzer also noted that Brooke could be in line for a push once again.
Brooke appeared in a backstage segment this week where she congratulated Becky Lynch, and said that she knows she’s not at the front of the line when it comes to potential title challengers, but she’s not at the back of the line anymore. She vowed to seize the moment if she can get an opportunity.
