Bray Wyatt has been one of the most talked about wrestlers for years now and currently the world is grieving as the former Universal Champion unfortunately passed away last week.
Earlier this year it seemed that Bray Wyatt was moving forward with a storyline involving Uncle Howdy and Alexa Bliss, but unfortunately plans were derailed when he was pulled from TV, which left a lot of fans to wonder what was going to happen.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that original plans called for Bray Wyatt to build up to a WrestleMania match with Uncle Howdy. However, plans ended up changing and the Uncle Howdy character was not pushed at that level. It was also noted that Alexa Bliss was about tog o back to her female monster gimmick, but plans were changed when Bray Wyatt became ill.
There’s no denying that the Uncle Howdy character was intriguing when he first debuted. Unfortunately WWE will never get the chance to follow up on this storyline, but it’s interesting to think about what could have been.
