Brock Lesnar is always a hot topic in the world of professional wrestling, and he’s got a lot of people talking right now because he didn’t appear on Monday Night Raw this week. Brock was advertised for a face to face confrontation with Roman Reigns, but there was no sign of The Beast on Raw.
PWInsider is reporting that original plans for the face to face meeting called for Reigns, Lesnar and Heyman to work a lengthy promo that was meant to be the first segment in the build for the WrestleMania main event.
Ronda Rousey was always meant to close the show on Monday, and the segment with Reigns, Lesnar and Heyman scheduled for the second hour. The promo was supposed to go back and forth for a while with Brock Lesnar eventually calling Roman Reigns a “bitch.”
As far as where Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman were, there was reportedly no sign of Lesnar or Heyman on Monday. Lesnar is known to keep to himself, however Paul Heyman is known for making himself available, but it appears that they weren’t at the arena at all.
It’s not known right now why WWE changed the original plans, but as noted the company is now using Brock’s absence as part of the storyline and Paul Heyman has responded with the following:
