This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured an open challenge which saw Seth Rollins put his title on the line against Dolph Ziggler, and Sheamus announced via Twitter that The Bar will be holding an open challenge tonight on SmackDown Live. Sheamus also noted that the members of The New Day are excluded from the open challenge.
This is an OPEN CHALLENGE to ANY Tag Team on #SDLive. Step-Up to #TheBar… who wants their shot?
*Note: open challenge excludes New Day because who needs more of that.. am i right? Terms & Conditions Apply. #nomorepancakes

However, as of this writing WWE is still advertising The Bar vs. The Usos in a non-title match for tonight’s show. The following announcement was posted in WWE’s SmackDown Live preview on WWE.com:
“The Usos continued their hot streak by notching a victory over The New Day to earn the captaincy of Team SmackDown at Survivor Series, then leading Team Blue to victory in the 10-on-10 Tag Team Elimination Match against Team Raw by emerging as the bout’s sole survivors.
Now, Jimmy & Jey Uso will turn their attention toward Team Blue’s top tandem: SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar. These two teams will clash in non-title action Tuesday night. Can The Usos thrust themselves back into the title picture, or will Sheamus & Cesaro prove why they set the bar for tag teams?”
