Ronda Rousey is one of the biggest names in combat sports, and at the 2018 Royal Rumble she shocked the world when she officially made her debut after the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match.
Some have argued that Ronda stole the spotlight from the other women with her debut, but one way or another she got everyone talking. With WrestleMania season in full swing, Rousey made it clear that she wants to wrestle at the big show, and it was recently announced that she’ll be signing her WWE contract at Elimination Chamber.
With Rousey set to sign her WWE contract soon, and WrestleMania 34 less than two months away, everyone’s wondering who she could be facing at the Show of Shows in April.
SportsBettingDime notes that Rousey has 2/3 odds of competing in a rumored mixed tag team match. A few years ago it looked like WWE officials were hoping to put together a mixed tag team match with The Rock and Ronda Rousey teaming up to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, but The Rock’s busy schedule could prevent him from competing on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
“Ronda Rousey’s odds of being in a mixed tag-team match in the upcoming Wrestlemania 34 is 2/3 and The Rock is rumored to be her partner, but due to his busy schedule and insurance reasons, this might not work out. If The Rock can’t make it, perhaps Kurt Angle will take his place.”
Ronda Rousey and Stephanie McMahon have a history together thanks to their encounter at WrestleMania 31, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that the idea is for Rousey to work some sort of program with Rousey in order to make Stephanie a bigger star outside of WWE.
Charlotte Flair has been teasing a potential match with Ronda Rousey for quite some time, and the report notes that odds of a Rousey vs. Flair match happening at WrestleMania are currently 3/1.
A potential match with Asuka has 9/1 odds, a match with Alexa Bliss has 25/1 odds, and the long rumored Horsewomen vs. Horsewomen match has 100/1 odds at this point.
One way or another there plenty of options for Rousey at WrestleMania, but it looks like a mixed tag team match might be the safest bet.
