Oba Femi has been one of the stars to watch ever since he signed with WWE, and the former NXT Champion has made a big impression on the fans. Back in January, Femi was eliminated from the men’s Royal Rumble match by Brock Lesnar, and fans have been wondering when the two stars might collide in a one on one match.
During a recent interview with TV Insider, Oba Femi was asked about fans comparing him to Brock Lesnar, and he made it clear that he wants to step into the ring with The Beast Incarnate.
“What a run for him. He had two separate runs, and they’ve both been fantastic. It would be really cool to face him. I know the fans have been asking for that match. It’s going to happen one day soon.
What a run he has had the UFC champion, multiple time WWE champion, Royal Rumble winner, dominance. What a way to cap it off by facing ‘The Ruler.'”
As of this writing it’s not clear who Brock Lesnar will be facing at WrestleMania as the former WWE Champion is holding an open challenge. Brock will not be on Raw this week, but he is being advertised for the following upcoming episodes:
March 16th – San Antonio, TX
March 23rd – Boston, MA
March 30th – New York, NY
April 6th – Houston, TX
April 13th – Sacramento, CA
