Now that the Royal Rumble pay-per-view has come and gone all eyes are looking ahead to WrestleMania 37, and both Edge and Bianca Belair have secured title shots on the grandest stage of them all.
Last year Charlotte Flair won the women’s Royal Rumble match, and she challenged Rhea Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36.
It appears that we could be seeing another title from NXT defended at WrestleMania this year, as WrestleVotes reports that there have been discussions about Finn Balor and the NXT Championship being part of the card.
At this point it’s not clear how far along the discussions are regarding the idea, but the report notes that people high up in WWE have talked about having Finn Balor and the NXT Title at WrestleMania.
Full disclosure, I don’t know where discussions stand at this point… However, I do know that several people, including some high up personnel, have talked about having Finn Balor & the NXT Championship on the WrestleMania card this year. Especially considering it’s 2 nights.
