Professional wrestling certainly isn’t ballet, and unfortunately injuries do happen from time to time which force Superstars to take time away from in-ring competition.
Current NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin recently took to Twitter to announce that he had to pull out of a PROGRESS event due to a case of elbow bursitis.
Devlin and Scotty Davis were scheduled to defend their PROGRESS Tag Team Titles against Anthony Henry and JD Drake at the event.
“Sorry to the @ThisIs_Progress fans and mgmt for missing #Chapter103 today. V.strenuous schedule lately and picked up a bit of elbow bursitis. It’ll be fine in a week or so, I just didn’t want to risk infection or aggravating it and prolonging my time out. See you guys soon. 😓”

Eddie Kingston ended up replacing Devlin at the event.
With @Jordan_Devlin1 injured, @ScottyDavisSSM had to find a tag team partner. So @MadKing1981 decided to tag along. #Chapter103 pic.twitter.com/Y0mjWDgm20
