The Superstars of WWE and NXT are always trying to make sure they stay safe so they can avoid being injured, but WWE recently shared a gruesome photo of Lars Sullivan’s jaw, and claimed that it was broken during his title match with Aleister Black at TakeOver: Chicago II a few weeks ago.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sullivan’s broken jaw is not legitimate and is just part of the storyline.
Since Lars Sullivan lost the title match, there’s speculation that WWE is trying to protect Sullivan by making fans think he worked through the pain of a broken jaw during his match with Aleister Black.
Sullivan is being kept off NXT events for a while in order to sell the injury as legitimate.
