NXT Superstars Get New Names

There was once a time where it was almost a given that a wrestler would have their name changed when they signed with NXT, but stars such as Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura and others were lucky enough to keep their names.

Apparently two of WWE’s up and coming recruits aren’t going to be so lucky.

WWE.com recently posted a gallery showing off every Performance Center recruit, and it shows that former ROH star Donovan Dijak, and former Impact Wrestling star Gunner are listed under new names.

According to the gallery, Donovan Dijak will now be known as Dominik Dijakovic.

Gunner has been wrestling under his real name, Chad Lail, since signing with NXT, but it appears that he will be known as Jaxson Ryker going forward.

Do you like the new names? Sound off in the comments below.
