You never know when one of your favorite NXT stars could get called up to the WWE main roster and looks like there are a few names who are being considered for NXT call-ups.
Fans have seen a lot more crossover between the brands in recent months and The New Day recently made the shift to the NXT brand. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston challenged Pretty Deadly for the NXT Tag Team Titles at Deadline and The New Day managed to walk out with the gold.
Pretty Deadly dropping the titles has led many to wonder if they could be getting called up, and Mike Johnson of PWInsider noted that there have been rumblings that the team could be working main roster live events next month.
“There were rumblings right after Pretty Deadly lost the WWE NXT Tag Team titles that they could be getting a look and working some house shows in January, but beyond that, nothing that I am aware of.”
