NXT Star Reportedly Injured

There’s never a good time for a wrestler to be injured, and it was recently reported that NXT Champion Johnny Gargano has been dealing with an injury.

Now the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Bobby Fish is also injured, and Fish was reportedly injured during the 5/17 event in Philadelphia.

The word is that the injury is not serious, but Bobby Fish was still kept off the rest of the shows for the tour.

Fish & O’Reilly were facing Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch when Fish got kicked in the head by Lorcan and he was “knocked silly.”

It’s being said that Fish looked woozy, and the ref wanted to stop the match, but he did several more spots.

Instead of stopped the match, O’Reilly tagged in and forced Fish to the outside where the trainers checked on him.

O’Reilly then hit a suplex and an armbar on Lorcan to end the match.

Fish was quickly taken to the back, and he came out the next night at the event in Belair, MD with his arm in a sling and he didn’t wrestle.
