NXT Star Released, Sheamus Issues Another Challenge

The NXT roster recently gained some very talented wrestlers, but it looks like one NXT talent is saying goodbye to the brand.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Abbey Laith has been released from her NXT contract. According to the report, Laith was told about her release on Wednesday.

Laith was formerly known as Kimber Lee, and she signed with the company in January of 2017. She competed in the Mae Young Classic, but didn’t appear much on NXT programming after that.

Laith seemingly reacted to her release by posting the following on Twitter:

Sheamus and Cesaro are the Raw Tag Team Champions, and they’re currently searching for opponents to face on the Grandest Stage of Them All in New Orleans on April 8.

Recently Sheamus took to Twitter to issue an open invitation for WrestleMania 34, and he once again challenged tag teams across the world to step up to The Bar at the Show of Shows. You can see what he had to say below.
