It’s never a good thing when a wrestler is pulled from in-ring competition, but safety always comes first. Recently EVOLVE announced that NXT star Kyle O’Reilly has been pulled from EVOLVE 129 and 130 in New York, but O’Reilly is still scheduled to be part of the meet and greets at the events.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Kyle O’Reilly was pulled from in-ring competition because he’s dealing with a staph infection.
He reportedly developed the staph infection after he got stitches in his back following NXT TakeOver: XXV.
Kyle O’Reilly is expected to return to in-ring competition within a week or so, and Tyler Breeze will be replacing him at the EVOLVE events.
WWE has announced that Breeze will be facing battle former EVOLVE Champion AR Fox in Queens and Anthony Greene in Brooklyn.
