NXT is loaded with talented names, but everyone in WWE’s developmental brand dreams of making it to the main roster, and that dream is about to come true for one star who has been in NXT for quite some time.
WWE recently announced that Hideo Itami is set to be called up to the main roster, and it looks like he’s going to be a big player in the cruiserweight division.
Hideo Itami will be joining 205 Live on Tuesday nights, which means he’ll likely be appearing on Monday Night Raw at some point as well, and it’s been confirmed that he’ll be making his debut next week.
Itami commented on his impending debut when he posted the following:

Some feel that Itami’s main roster debut has been a long time coming, as his NXT run never quite took off in the way that some fans thought it would.
With Hideo Itami getting called up from NXT, and a former Impact Wrestling star rumored to be debuting with WWE next week, it appears that the company has big plans for the cruiserweight division.
As noted, the first 205 Live events are set to be held in April, and WWE officials are reportedly planning more events for February.
