You never know what might happen when you watch WWE programming, and this week a NXT star made his debut on Friday Night SmackDown. Baron Corbin was cutting a promo in the ring ahead of his match with Shinsuke Nakamura when he was interrupted by Rick Boogs who entered the ThunderDome while playing an electric guitar.
He spelled his name out for Corbin, then told him that he came to rock with the real King of SmackDown, Shinsuke Nakamura. Boogs then played Shinsuke Nakamura’s entrance music on guitar and walked with him to the ringside area.
Shinsuke Nakamura picked up the win when Corbin was distracted by Rick’s guitar playing and he rolled him up for the victory.
According to the description for the video of Nakamura’s entrance on WWE’s YouTube channel Rick Boogs is “SmackDown’s newest Superstar.”
Boogs signed with WWE in 2017, and he last wrestled for NXT during a live event in March of 2020.
