NXT Star Deals With Fallout From Hurricane Irma, Mike Bennett Celebrates Sobriety

Hurricane Irma recently did some serious damage to Florida, and even though some people were able to ride out the storm without their homes taking on too much damage, NXT star Lacey Evans is currently dealing with the fallout from the storm.

Evans’ home was damaged by Hurricane Irma, and she recently took to Instagram to show off some family photos that were ruined by Hurricane Irma, but she noted she’s trying to salvage what she can.

“I can replace appliances….clothes…hell, my entire home. But this will never be replaced. Never. I could give two shits about what I’ve lost. But damn this is the worse​ part. All I have left of my father are these💔 saving what i can. #HurricaneIrma can kiss my ass.”

Luckily Lacey is keeping her head up, and her daughter is helping her see that every cloud has a silver lining.

“To the family, friends and fans who took the time to send positive loving words our way i want to say THANK YOU ALL. and share this….my daughter yelled for me to come see. I immediately thought she found(yet another ruined favorite toy😥)when i turned the corner she had the biggest smile. And said “LOOK MOM! A RAINBOW”! Even through everything lost, she noticed the unnoticeable to many…even myself.”

Mike Bennett recently revealed to the public that he had been struggling with an addiction to prescription drugs, but with the support of his wife, family and friends, Mike was able to kick the addiction and recovery seems to be going well.

Mike recently took to Twitter to note that on Tuesday he celebrated two months of sobriety. Congratulations Mike, hopefully your story will inspire other people to get the help they need.
