This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown aired live from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC and the show featured some big matches. During the show Charlotte Flair went one on one with Nia Jax in a match that saw Jax pick up the victory after a surprising name interfered.
Near the end of the match Lash Legend popped up at the barricade on the outside and she attacked Alexa Bliss who had accompanied Charlotte to the ring. Lash Legend proceeded to lock a sleeper hold in on Bliss which caused Charlotte Flair to get distracted. Nia Jax then capitalized on the distraction as she connected with the Annihilator to defeat The Queen.
After the match Nia Jax and Lash Legend stood tall as the commentators hyped up how dangerous their alliance could be for the women’s division on Friday Night SmackDown.
During a backstage segment Cathy Kelley asked the duo how their pairing came about. Nia Jax said that Alexa & Charlotte joked that she needed to find a friend, so she found a friend in Lash Legend. As the interview concluded Lash Legend told Cathy Kelley that this new duo is going straight to the top, and this is only the beginning.
