It’s never easy when a wrestler gets injured while doing what they do best, but as Jim Ross always used to remind us, wrestling is not ballet. Things were looking good for NXT tag team TM-61, as they seemed to be on a roll, but unfortunately an injury has halted their momentum. It was reported a few weeks ago that Shane Thorne had suffered a knee injury, and now WWE has confirmed that he will be out of action for 7 to 9 months.
Best of luck to Shane on his recovery.
There’s absolutely no denying that AJ Styles has had an incredible year. Styles made his WWE debut at the Royal Rumble in 2016, and he’ll be walking into the 2017 Royal Rumble pay-per-view as the WWE Champion. AJ will defend his title against John Cena, as Cena looks to win his 16th World Championship and tie Ric Flair’s record.
WWE posted a new video on their YouTube channel which features AJ Styles reacting to his very first interview with WWE.com. In the video Styles admits that he was nervous he wouldn’t get a reaction from the crowd, by he was shocked by the ovation he received once he walked through the curtain. Styles says his debut is something he will never forget.
