NXT had a big show feel about it this week as the United Kingdom Championship was set to be defended on the show for the first time.
One of the big mysteries of the evening was who was going to partner Liv Morgan against Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. Morgan chose Ember Moon and after a boot to the face, Moon was out of the match and Morgan was left to take the pin and cost Ember her undefeated streak.
The Tag Team Championships were defended in a triple threat match as DIY returned to NXT and stated that they wanted their rematch. The Revival then attacked while The Authors of Pain were once again outsmarted by the Top Guys. DIY will have their rematch in two weeks, but it seems that something bigger is building here.
Tyler Bate put his UK Championship on the line against Progress Tag Team Championship partner and fellow member of Moustache Mountain Trent Seven last night and it was obvious that the duo knew each other well. It was a title worthy match that saw The Tyler Driver once again work wonders for the champion when he defeated seven to retain his title.
