NXT Star Gets New Name, Lita On Female Commentators

New stars are always joining the NXT roster, and even though some talents get to keep their names once they get signed, that isn’t always the case.

According to the WWE Performance Center website, Steffanie Newell, better known to wrestling fans as Nixon Newell, has taken on a new name and she will now be known as Tegan Nox going forward.

There are quite a few WWE Superstars out there who interact with fans on social media, and one fan recently made a comment that got Lita’s attention.

A fan made a comment on Twitter noting that maybe there are very few women in WWE who would like to do commentary, but according to Lita that’s not true.

Over the last few years women’s wrestling has come a long way in WWE, and even though fans have been seeing women at the commentary table from time to time, WWE has yet to add a female member to the commentary team on a full time basis.
