NXT Call Up Possibly Nixed Due To Injury

You never know when a wrestler might get called up from NXT, as WWE recently announced that Lars Sullivan will be joining the main roster soon.

It seems that WWE may have had plans for EC3 to make his move to the main roster months ago, but unfortunately those plans had to be changed.

Mike Johnson discussed EC3’s status recently on PWInsider Elite Audio, and he speculated that he would have been called up by now had he not suffered a concussion (Ringside News).

“Obviously they announced Lars Sullivan. I always hear EC3 is kinda on the precipice of an eventual call-up. I still believe and nobody has told me this outright. But I’m under the impression that had he not gotten the concussion SummerSlam weekend, he probably would have been brought up right around SummerSlam time. Now they’ve gotta wait until they figure out a spot for him. That’s kinda the impression I got.”

Are you looking forward to EC3 getting called up? Sound off in the comments below.
