NXT Announcer Reportedly Quits The Company

The wrestling world is an interesting place to be right now, as new opportunities are emerging, but it looks like one NXT announcer has decided to pursue a different career. Case Michael of Squared Circle Sirens recently took to Twitter to report that Percy Watson has quit NXT.

He went on to say that Percy Watson wants to do acting.

Percy Watson signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2009, and he competed as part of the second season of the original NXT before it was officially turned into WWE’s developmental brand.

Watson was released in 2013, but later returned to NXT in 2016 to work as a commentator.
