Number One Merch Seller For WrestleMania Week Revealed

WrestleMania week is always one of the most exciting times of the year to be a wrestling fan and over the last week WWE has given fans plenty to talk about. On Sunday night Cody Rhodes challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, and Roman Reigns retained the gold when he picked up the victory.

Unfortunately for Cody the main event at WrestleMania 39 didn’t end quite the way he had hoped, but it seems that his merchandise sales throughout WrestleMania week worked out well for The American Nightmare.

Fightful Select reports that generic WWE/WrestleMania themed merchandise was the top seller throughout WrestleMania week. When it comes to sales for individual WWE Superstar sales it was Cody Rhodes who topped the list.

After Cody Rhodes was unable to defeat Roman Reigns at WrestleMania he requested a rematch the following night on Raw, but The Tribal Chief declined. Later in the night Cody was destroyed by Brock Lesnar, so it appears that Cody will be moving on to a feud with The Beast Incarnate.

Do you think WWE should have let Cody Rhodes win at WrestleMania 39? Sound off in the comments below.
