From time to time WWE makes the decision to cut ties with talent for one reason or another. There are a number of free agents on the market right now, and it sounds like New Japan Pro Wrestling is looking to expand their roster.
Fightful Select reports that NJPW has shown interest in Tom Pestock, formerly known as Baron Corbin in WWE. It’s being said that the two sides have been in contact. However, there’s no word on how deep the talks have been between the two sides.
A few months ago WWE informed Tom Pestock that his contract would not be renewed, and he recently confirmed that he is now a free agent. Pestock was recently backstage at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view visiting friends.
