Nikki Bella made her big return to WWE earlier this year and since then she’s been involved in multiple WWE storylines. This week on Raw, Nikki turned heel when she attacked Stephanie Vaquer. Following her heel turn some fans in the crowd directed some negative chants toward Nikki which apparently didn’t go unnoticed.
The Hall of Famer addressed some of the hate she’s been getting on the Nikki & Brie Show, and she also talked about the work she’s been putting in behind the scenes.
“It’s really nice because I feel like more people who have credibility are really starting to speak up for me because I know for so long, like people are like, I don’t want the trolls to come at me online, so people just never really did. But I think people now are kind of like, the hate is so gross.”
“Like even some of the chants that I got last night [on RAW this week in Boston], like it’s the same — But it’s nice for these people with credibility that are speaking up, because I think at the end of the day, they all know how much I love this business, how much passion I have for wrestling, they know the work that I put in.”
“It’s not like I come on here and always say like, oh, when I had two days free where I didn’t have my son, I flew to Orlando just to get in the ring for five hours to fly straight back. You know, I don’t talk about all that stuff all the time, but the people that know, and like, I truly love this business and I want to give it my all. And I really loved what Big E said because yeah, I don’t need to just sit around and always put people over. I know what I can do now. I know what my worth is. And you’re going to start to hear it a lot more.”
