For years John Cena and Nikki Bella had a very public relationship, but they’ve since gone their separate ways. Nikki Bella got engaged to Artem Chigvintsev in 2019, and in July of this year they welcomed their first child into the world.
John Cena recently married Shay Shariatzadeh, and during an appearance on the All Things Vanderpump podcast Nikki was asked if she congratulated her ex.
“I haven’t … but yeah, I didn’t. Are there rules? Am I supposed to? Should I send flowers?”
Brie Bella then followed up to say that she didn’t congratulate her ex when he got married, but he didn’t congratulate her when she married Daniel Bryan in 2014.
Nikki then took the opportunity to congratulate the 16 time WWE World Champion.
“John, congratulations on your wedding. I’m very, very happy for you.”
Nikki did recently confirm that John Cena reached out to both her and Brie Bella when they gave birth.
“He reached out to Brie and I both. We haven’t had an individual conversation in, gosh, I don’t know how long, but it was very short and sweet!”
