Vince McMahon is officially done with TKO as he resigned from his position as Executive Chairman after a lawsuit was filed by a former WWE employee accusing him of sex trafficking and abuse.
According to PWInsider, Nick Khan issued a statement to WWE employees via email on Friday confirming that Vince will no longer have a role with TKO or WWE. The statement reads as follows:
“I wanted to inform you that Vince McMahon has tendered his resignation from his positions as TKO Executive Chairman and on the TKO Board of Directors. He will no longer have a role with TKO Group Holdings or WWE.”
Vince McMahon originally retired from WWE in July of 2022, but later returned to the company in January of 2023 to pursue a sale. WWE was officially acquired by Endeavor and the TKO merger was completed in September of 2023.
