The wrestling landscape has changed drastically over the last few years as AEW has emerged, Vince McMahon retired, and then Vince McMahon returned. Now that Vince is back he’s trying to sell WWE and there’s a lot of talk about who could potentially buy the company.
WWE CEO Nick Khan recently talked about all things WWE during an appearance on the Bill Simmons podcast, and during the show he was asked if he felt threatened by AEW and Tony Khan.
“I don’t feel threatened by anyone on anything. It’s just not how I do business. I don’t care what anyone else is doing. I care what we’re doing. And as long as we can have the best product on with the best talent and the best writers, I think we’re going to be in good shape.”
Nick Khan also confirmed that he has met Shad Khan, but he’s never met Tony Khan when he said, “Tony Khan seems like a nice kid to me. I don’t know him.”
It was recently reported that Tony Khan and Shad Khan are in the pool of potential buyers when it comes to a WWE sale. Tony recently explained his interest in the WWE sale process and you can get more on that here.
