Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss have been feuding for months, and Sunday night at Backlash Nia successfully defended the Raw Women’s Championship against Bliss.
Following the title defense, WWE.com posted the following announcement claiming Bliss suffered an injury during the match:
“Alexa Bliss suffered an injury to her left shoulder during her Raw Championship Match at WWE Backlash against Nia Jax. Bliss is currently awaiting further medical evaluation. Stay with WWE.com for any updates on Bliss’ condition.”
WWE has yet to post any follow up announcements regarding the injury, and it’s not known if it’s legitimate or simply part of a storyline.
One way or another, some fans are blaming the injury on Nia Jax.

Nia Jax responded to the criticism by claiming that the injury is fake, and she also said that Alexa is perfectly fine.

As of this writing WWE is still advertising Alexa Bliss for the European tour.
