Back in November, Nia Jax found herself on the receiving end of some major backlash after she injured Becky Lynch, and Becky had to be pulled from her match with Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series.
Jax has since used the incident to her advantage, and she’s been getting some major heel heat.
The former Raw Women’s Champion was recently asked what she learned from the experience during an interview with Sporting News, and she noted that she learned that there’s an opportunity in every situation.
“Obviously, we learned that I can’t throw punches (laughs). I’m just kidding. From that experience, there’s always an opportunity whether it’s good or bad. If somebody gets hit, that happens in a contact sport. It happens, so you just have to be able to look at the positives and take it and run with it. I just realized that everything is an opportunity no matter what happens. People might freak out like they did on me and that’s OK because now I’m one of the top heels in this company and I’m OK with that. That’s my job, so I take everything as an opportunity.”
Nia Jax will have her chance to win championship gold once again when she teams up with Tamina to challenge Sasha Banks & Bayley for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at Fastlane on Sunday.
