The stars of the WWE are currently overseas working live events in Europe, and the tour has been interesting so far. Triple H recently teamed up with The Shield, and Bray Wyatt returned to action. Now it seems that another star who recently returned to action may have suffered an injury on the tour.
DirtySheets.net is reporting that Nia Jax was on the wrong end of a nasty botch during a tag team match which saw her team up with Alexa Bliss to take on Sasha Banks and Bayley.
According to the report, Bayley and Sasha Banks went for a double team suplex on Nia Jax, but they ended up dropping her on her neck instead of her back, and the match then immediately went to the finish.
After the match Nia Jax was seen holding her neck as she walked to the back. It’s unclear if she’s legitimately injured, or if she was just selling, but the botch is said to have looked painful.
The video below doesn’t feature the botch, but it does show Nia grabbing her neck after the match.
Nia Jax recently returned to action on Raw last week after being away from WWE for several weeks. There were various rumors and reports regarding her leave of absence, but the story coming from Nia seems to be that she was dealing with a back injury as she recently retweeted the following:
