Asuka made her long-awaited main roster debut last night at TLC: Tables Ladders and Chairs in a match against Emma, but most fans were confused by how even the match seemed between the two former NXT superstars.
Many of the WWE Universe thought that Emma was stepping into a squash match against the undefeated Empress of Tomorrow, but instead, their show opening bout actually went on for almost 10 minutes.
Asuka did eventually get the win when she forced Emma to tap to the Asuka Lock, but it seems that one current member of the Raw Women’s Division was less than impressed with her victory.
Nia Jax tweeted the message below to the former NXT Women’s Champion and made reference to the fact that she was able to defeat Emma in just six minutes on an episode of Raw a few months ago.
Asuka has yet to respond to this message, but considering Nia wasn’t part of the fatal five-way match to determine the Japanese star’s opponent at TLC a few weeks ago, it seems that Nia has decided that she is going to set up her own showdown with Asuka moving forward.
Nia is currently taking time away from WWE, so it will be interesting to see if WWE continues to build towards a match between these two stars leading up to Survivor Series next month.
