NFL Player Hits Football With The People’s Elbow, The Rock Comments

The Rock is one of the most famous people on the planet. He made a name for himself in the WWE, and now he’s one of the highest paid actors in the world. The Rock has inspired many people throughout his career from wrestlers, to actors, to athletes, and one NFL player paid tribute to The Great One by using The People’s Elbow on Sunday.

The People’s Elbow is one of the most iconic moves from The Rock’s arsenal, and Detroit Lions player Golden Tate busted it out during his touchdown celebration, and he decided to lay the smack down on a football in the end zone.

You can see it for yourself in the video below.

The Great One picked up on the homage, and he gave Golden Tate his seal of approval on Twitter.

At this point it’s unknown if we’ll ever see The Rock drop The People’s Elbow inside a WWE ring again, but one thing’s for sure, that football is down for the three count.
