Next Possible Opponent For Alexa Bliss After No Mercy

The odds were stacked against Alexa Bliss in the fatal five-way match at No Mercy but there were plenty of people who still believed she could do it. After all, the Five Feet Of Fury has overcome a lot and always seems to be able to do well enough to get the job done.

Bliss walked out of No Mercy with her Raw Women’s Championship still around her waist so she can keep doing that cool pose with it in the ring. But now fans are wondering what her next move will be because she commented on Raw Talk following No Mercy how she’d already beaten the entire Raw Women’s Division in that fatal five-way match.

The fact is she did beat a majority of the women on Raw in her match at No Mercy. But she didn’t beat all of them.

Mickie James wasn’t in the match, but she has been paired up against Bliss at recent house shows and was even in a multi-woman match against Bliss on Saturday night in Fresno.

When Alexa Bliss spoke on Raw Talk about who she would face next she took some shots at Mickie James a couple of times. Little Miss Bliss remarked how she could beat Mickie James in less than two minutes and said she was an old lady. Those are fighting words.

With Asuka on her way at TLC, they need to give Alexa Bliss someone to face in the meantime. Who knows if Bliss will immediately be paired against Asuka? But it’s certainly a possibility seeing how strongly they need to book Asuka in order for her to live up to the incredible reputation which proceeds her.

Mickie James is a strong competitor and her veteran knowledge is crucial to the success of a lot of her matches. A feud between James and Bliss would also be fun because they certainly have unfinished business.

Mickie James also teased that she’s coming after the title when she posted the following on Instagram:

“Having a me day at the Mecca while In deep thought. Tonight #wwenomercy brings you a #rawwomenschampionship without the History Maker herself. I’ve sat back… patiently… humbly… on the sidelines long enough watching while Girls with half my accolades… etc… get the opportunities I came back with my sights on. It seems In all this sideline sitting I forgot who I am! It seems You have too! But I remember… and soon so shall all of you! I will sit no longer. I want to wish all you ladies luck! But know this…. whomever holds that championship at the end of the night… I’m coming for you! Not some bell bottom wearing, smiling, happy to be here, yes sir girl, but a grown a$$ woman with battle scars you’ve yet to understand! Hardcore Country reigns again… Un-humbly yours~ MJ”
