On Sunday night Samoa Joe defended his United States Championship against Rey Mysterio, and he put Mysterio away in less than a minute after applying the Coquina Clutch.
This week on SmackDown Live, Carmella and R-Truth made their way to the ring for a segment, but they were rudely interrupted by United States Champion Samoa Joe.
Joe brawled with Truth, and then he was interrupted by Raw Superstar Braun Strowman.
Strowman made his way down to the ring and got physical with Samoa Joe, and the commentators teased that we could be seeing a possible title feud between the two stars.
It was confirmed on Monday Night Raw this week that the Superstar Shake-Up will be returning this week, so it appears that WWE is teasing possible feuds that could take place after the Superstar Shake-Up.
