Next Challenger For Gunther’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship Revealed On WWE Raw

At Crown Jewel fans saw a champion vs. champion match when Cody Rhodes faced off against Gunther in the main event. The American Nightmare defeated The Ring General to become the first ever WWE Crown Jewel Champion, and after the match Gunther showed respect to Cody.

During Crown Jewel it was announced that Seth Rollins, Sheamus, Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest would face off in a four way match to determine the next challenger for Gunther’s title, and that match took place on Raw this week.

Near the end of the match Bronson Reed appeared and set his sights on Seth Rollins. Reed cleared off the announce table then Damian Priest and Sheamus both attacked him, but he took them both out then delivered a Tsunami to each of them.

Bronson Reed then climbed up the barricade and jumped off sending Rollins through the announce table with a Tsunami. Back in the ring Dominik Mysterio hit a Frog Splash on Sheamus. Damian Priest broke up the pin at two. Dominik went to the top rope and Damian Priest caught him when he jumped off then delivered the choke slam for the win to earn the title shot.

After Damian Priest picked up the win Gunther confronted him as Raw went off the air.
