Regarding TNA’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view airing from Japan, it will likely air on tape because the normal 8pm EST start time on a Sunday would have to be taped at 7am on a Monday in Tokyo. The show is currently scheduled for 6:30pm on a Sunday, which would be 4:30am EST on Sunday morning and it won’t be happening at that time either.
Bound For Glory taking place in Japan and TNA taking that kind of risk indicates that TNA is making no money on pay-per-view.
TNA is actually saving money by doing a taped pay-per-view and will be saving on other costs. Wrestle-1 can take care of the production so TNA’s biggest cost will be transporting the talents to Japan.
TNA and Wrestle-1 have had talks about working together well into 2015.
