It was one thing when Gunner parted ways with TNA, but it was quite shocking to learn that James Storm had asked for his release from the company. PWInsider is reporting that the reason both men requested their releases is due to the fact that they aren’t making money in TNA. TNA hasn’t been running live events which is hurting them financially.
TNA officials reportedly understood the situation and let both men go out of respect. The company hopes to have both of them back and knows that now Gunner and Storm are now fair game for WWE to sign but were willing to take the risk due to respect for the wrestlers.
