As we’ve mentioned before, WWE has booked wrestling legend Jushin “Thunder” Liger to face Tyler Breeze at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn on August 22nd. Liger will be staying in Brooklyn to watch SummerSlam the next night but won’t be appearing either SummerSlam or Raw the next night.
According to PWInsider the word going around is that Jushin “Thunder” Liger got booked for NXT Takeover: Brooklyn because he was invited by William Regal. Liger accepted the offer because it offers him an opportunity to finally wrestle in a WWE ring and he also enjoys visiting the United States.
