It hasn’t been announced officially yet, but WWE has been building toward a triple threat match for the Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank where Ryback will defend against The Miz and Big Show.
Sheamus had been advertised as the Intercontinental Champion for WWE live events following Elimination Chamber and Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that he was originally booked to win. The decision to have Ryback go over was reportedly a late change.
