Prowrestling.net is reporting that Kevin Steen’s long rumored WWE tryout took place last week at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. Steen has been telling people he won’t be re-signing with Ring of Honor when his contract expires in June. He has said however that he’s open to working with ROH as a free agent.

Other names that were listed for the tryout include. ACH, Arya Daivari (younger brother of Shawn Daivari), David Starr, Kevin Steen, Michael Elgin, Rocky Romero, Roderick Strong, Ronny Reeves, Willie Mack and Zane Dawson.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Steen and Strong did well at the tryout. WWE was apparently impressed with Strong due to his mic work.
