After Brock Lesnar did the impossible and pinned the Undertaker at Wrestlemania, a huge “bullshit” chant broke out. The chant quieted down once the “21-1” graphic came on the big board. Taker got a standing ovation and a “Thank You Taker” chant. Multiple sources reported that large groups of fans were seen leaving and several crying. Taker’s loss brought the crowd down a lot of notches and it didn’t seem to pick up until well into the main event match.
Taker losing was the original plan, so don’t believe the story of “Brock Breaking The Script and Will Be Fired By Vince.” That is flat out false.
It should be noted that this was the Undertakers decision. It’s not confirmed yet but the impression given backstage was The Undertaker is done. No word as of yet if this will change a potential match against Sting for next years Wrestlemania.
It should be noted also that back in 2010, The Undertaker said that if he could choose someone to beat the streak it would’ve been Brock Lesnar.
